Who is responsible?

AstroMELI is run by [COMPANY NAME] ([ADDRESS]). For anything about your personal data, write to [E-MAIL].

This notice tells you what we do with your data, as Turkey's Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK) requires.

What we collect

Account: your e-mail address and a hash of your password (never the password itself). If you sign in with Google, we receive only your e-mail address and that it is verified.

Birth data: name, birth date, time and place for you and for the people you add, and the charts calculated from them.

What you write and what is written for you: your questions to MELI and her answers, page readings, reports, journal notes, life events, relationship records; your nickname and gender if you entered them under My account.

MELI's memory: only if you turn it on, short notes MELI keeps about you. These may include health information, so memory is turned on with a separate consent.

Face reading: only if you start it. Your photo and the point positions on your face never leave your device and are stored nowhere. Only the labels of the face features (for example “broad forehead”) and the reading MELI writes are saved to your account. You can delete them at any time; if you download your data, they are in the file. If you read someone else’s face, that is your responsibility. It is closed to people under 18.

Credits and purchases: your credit history and purchase records. Your card details never reach us.

Technical records: session data and the records needed to keep your account safe.

What we use it for

To calculate your chart, write your readings and answer your questions to MELI; to keep your account open and safe; to run credits and purchases; to send the e-mails you asked for; to prevent abuse and to track what the service costs.

We do this to carry out our agreement with you (the terms of use), to meet our legal duties and to keep the service safe. For memory notes, which may hold health information, we ask for your explicit consent separately.

What is shared with AI

AstroMELI does its own sky calculations. To write readings, it shares these calculations with AI servers in Turkey and abroad.

We do not send your name to AI. Saved names (yours, the people you add, your relationships, your nickname) never go to AI; a stand-in name goes instead, and the real name is put back on our site when the answer arrives. Other names you type into a chat yourself go as they are. Names that are also a sign or a planet (such as Başak or Aslan) are not changed, so the chart is not garbled.

What goes: for the profile you ask about, its birth date, time, place and calculated chart; the messages you write; the results of the calculations MELI runs for you; short summaries of your earlier chats about the same profile; memory notes if memory is on; your gender if you entered it. For relationship readings, the comparison of the two charts goes; the other person's birth date, time and place do not. Your e-mail address and password never go.

Voice features: if you press "Listen", the answer's text is sent to be turned into speech, with names taken out; the audio is kept in your account and deleted with the chat. In a live call your voice is processed as you speak; MELI is given no names there and we do not record the conversation. If you dictate with the microphone, your device's or browser's own service turns it into text; your voice does not reach us.

Face reading: no photo goes to AI. Only short source texts that match the face-feature labels go; if you pick a profile, the element count of that profile’s planets goes too.

We ask these servers not to keep the data, but we cannot guarantee zero retention for every one of them.

Who else gets it

The companies we work with to run the service, only as much as needed: hosting, e-mail delivery, payments (the payment page takes your card details; we never see them) and Google sign-in. Authorities, if the law requires it.

We do not sell your data and do not use it for ads.

How long we keep it

As long as your account is open. If you delete a profile, its charts, readings and chats go with it.

If you delete your account, its records on our servers are deleted. Only a hash of your e-mail address (not the address) is kept, so the free allowance is not given to the same address again. Cost records without identity (which job, what it cost) stay after an account is deleted. Records the law asks us to keep (such as invoices) are kept for that period.

Files you downloaded to your device have to be deleted separately.

Your rights

Under Article 11 of the KVKK you can learn whether your data is processed, ask for information, ask for it to be corrected if wrong or deleted if no longer needed, learn who it was shared with, and object.

You can download your data as a file below and delete your account under My account. For anything else, write to [E-MAIL].

If this notice changes

We update its date, and tell you separately about any important change.
